I just checked out Lube Control's redesigned website. under independent tests you can read Southwest Research Institute's test on FP-plus. It sounds really good but I'm confused by what it says about the HFRR test. Did it lower the tested fuel result by .37 mm or to .37mm (if that is the case, what was the starting HFRR score?)

take all of it with a grain of salt. fron what Ive seen, even these labs are having REAL trouble getting good, repeatable results on individual, REAL engine components, to correlate to the ASTM method using the HFRR or anything else.

The key is that the lubricity is enhanced compared to the standard. This is a good sign. From looking at the results, it lowered by 0.37mm. What this REALLY means is TBD, IMHO.

I asked another fuel additive company owner and he said they don't want to do the test because their product might not show anything and that would hurt their marketing. Good job LCD.
