Has anybody experienced the effects of Stabil fuel additive on an oil analysis?

From what I understand, Seafoam works well for cleaning, but has also been shown to be pretty hard on oil and certain metals in the engine.

I believe the normal practice is to change the oil and filter after you do a direct dose of seafoam throught he intake.

I dont think Sta-Bil will do anything to the oil, unless you pour it dircetly into the crankcase.

That makes sense. But from what I understand, combustion products/fuel can also get past the rings into the crankcase. I just bought a new bike, rode it for a while and it had a 2% fuel dilution in the oil. But my Honda dealership said this is actually normal. I'm a novice, so I'm really not sure what to think.

Every time I used Stabil on my 300ZXTT for storage. It would screw up the spark plugs-fouling and such. Hated it. My car would be in storage from a 1.5 mos. to 8mos. a time.
