It is possible to set up an item for purchase on eBay with the "Buy It Now" option and send an e-mail with the eBay item number to someone who will then immediately purchase the item- without showing on eBay's website if you're fast enough (experienced it myself a few years back). This may be how the (hilarious!!!) feedback for such a member is being kept pure.

You can tell a couple of the sellers don't get the joke -- I wonder how many high-volume eBay sellers never check the feedback they get, as long as their percentage stays good.
