Would a little ARX in my gas help decoke valve stems etc?

Has anyone tried this?

Or is this just a crazy idea?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Some neutra may work, but I don't know about A-Rx. You can read up on Neutra 131 here or on the Schaeffer's site.

Interesting idea. I dunno. Although I'm sure that Auto-Rx will be happy to clean any metal that it comes in contact with, you would have to cut it very thin and it would have very little dwell time.

There are other potential issues. What happens when Auto-Rx is subjected to combustion? Does it form some residue/deposit of its own? Does it produce a high ash?

We need someone with a beater to play guinea pig here.....

Thanks you guys.

I am in my first ARX clean phase uconn, and so I think I should wait to try nuetra in the gas.

You raise some very good points Gary. The lack of dwell time alone is a real consideration, and it is something I never thought of. Maybe it would be a waste of ARX.

I will let someone else try it first. Thanks!

Use a bottle of Amsoil PI in the gas.
