Aluminum wheel nicks-Can it be repaired?

I have 1 small not to deep nick on my factory aluminum rim.I would like to use a polishing tool like a Dremel with a compound and polish the nick down.Any info would be great.Thanks J

Is it a polished rim with clearcoat on it or is it painted? If it's polished, I guess you could polish it out. If they're painted, I'd probably fill the nick with epoxy, finish it and paint it.
