Nice one Mori, That thing can really go.

I keep seeing one Puch Pinzgauer here in SF. 30 year old ones go for $15k in medium condition. As you may know this has been a popular 4WD (or 6WD) vehicle with many armed forces since the early//mid '70s. It has one of the most capable offroad suspensions, even when compared to the latest designs. The original Pinzgauer was built in Austria, but the older version is now being manufactured in the UK. The SAS uses also them.

If you look for "Pinzgauer" on YouTube you will find amazing stuff. Older Unimogs (the new ones are just too large) are almost as capable as the Pinzgauer.

There is a guy in town who has an older Unimog. He loves the thing and uses it for everything includind snow removal and grocery getting. If I were rich, someday, I would have both. That Pinzgauer would satisfy my needs better than any minimum van.
