What kind of sicko clicks a topic like that?
When reading the following keep in mind I'm just a stammering foreigner with zero language skills.
Anyone else familiar with the old 60s R&B tribute tune by Arthur Connelly called "Sweet Soul Music"? I downloaded it off iTunes the other day because I'm a huge fan of the Motown/R&B/Philly sound of the 60s, and that fits the bill. But I've always been confounded about the verse involving Lou Rawls. Here are the lyrics as I hear them:
Spotlight on Lou Rawls, ya'll
Don't he look balls, ya'll?
Singin' love to hurt my ding-dong
Oh yeah, oh ho yeah
That can't be right, can it? Anyhow, that's what I hear and what I heard. Thought I would share...
