Four clams a quart? That's mighty close to current retail for most of what he's offering and about double what any of those oils would have cost after store deals and MIR. I'm sure that he is selling it off gradually as anyone here would know better

My first rebate came fast. The second one was submitted on May 20, and it is still pending. Just a $7 rebate for the Mobil Super 5000, so I am not worried about it too much, but I would like to get it before I change the oil again in the Honda Civi

BUMP! Still no rebate. My email from May 9 reads that I'll get my card in 2-3 weeks from then. I called the 888 number and the recording says 8-10 weeks and to hold on as they are still processing. Shysters.

I have noticed two (2) Toyota truck where it seemed the entire arm collapsed. Like the ball joints and control arm, spindles, etc just caved in. It was as if the frame was on the ground in that corner. Looked scary.

It's trivial to replace the valve-stem oil seals with the cylinder head removed. It's very unusual that they weren't. No, they won't be detected in a leak or compression test.

Well, it's a luxury car. The guarantee program only guarantees 50% residual value after 3 years. Plugging around on kbb.com their resale value is in line with this number. So a $100k car in 3 years is worth ~$50k.
