My vote is a good synthetic 10w30 such as Pennzoil Ultra, Castrol Edge, or Mobil 1 or an HDEO Semisynthetic 10w30 or or full synthetic 5w40 such as Rotella or Delo.

I currently use Quaker State 5w-20 synthetic (QSUD) in my 3.6L Ram--it seems to run great, with no perceivable consumption. I'm switching to Amsoil OEM 5w-20 on the next change, but not because I'm dissatisfied with the the QSUD. Originally Poste

Now I'm going to have to get a paint shaker to ensure I get all the additives mixed in, then filter it, before pouring, through something that will get me down effectively to 5 microns or less. That shouldn't be a problem at all, right?
