I don't see anything wrong with that law. Its an incredible waste to do 3k changes and the quick lubes pressure you into it.

Not sure what grade your vehicle is after, but I'd choose a magnatec oil in appropriate grade.

This issue is in regard to missing wrist pin retainer clips. That's a huge faux pas. How they intend to borescope this particular area is beyond me. I guess they can just look into the cylinder through the plug hole and check for wear on the cylinder

Any filter can fall if it hits hard enough to dislodge the retaining spring, i've seen it with coil spring filters too.
