Use 10W40, do not use 5W30. You are correct that 5W30 is too light.

Heads are fine simply replace the valve seals and it should be good to go, simple issue on them older 5.7's.

No credit card debt here, a chunk of savings, and I owe about $5K on the Regal. The plan is to pay it off by next New Year's, then drive it sans payment for a year or two.

When you switch brands at an OCI, you are basically mixing brands anyway since you can't get all of the old oil out anyway, right?

It's been good so far,after I ran that Microsoft tool,and i also turned off automatic updates. It's only for a laptop that i gave my 8 y.o. son,so if it catches anything,reformat time again. Thanks to all for responding.

Doing this as morning coffee takes effect on a V day while dreading venturing out to do shopping so I just noticed the US data sheet has no tech specs... nice.

Ive encountered 3 vert lousy OEM tires. Yokohama Geolandar GO33 tires on a 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander LS, terrible on snow and were bald at 12,500 miles. Should have known by the 160 treadware rating! The second worst OE tires were the Toyo Proxes on

M1 says not to mix because of formulation differences. Like has been said, use the Edge, then later use straight M1.

Need to compare NOACK volatility if consumption is an issue. Lower NOACK generally equates to lower consumption.

Okay, here's the Premium from the US site, they are in fact different product numbers the Hi Tech (German site) is 1306 and the Premium (US site) is 2041. http://www.liqui-moly.us
