If your davit crane has no seal to keep dirt and water from entering the bottom sleeve, think about installing something like this, without the bottom clamp:

I missed the times Costco carried Kirkland labeled JC batteries for a nice price. My Costco then had the prices go up, then carried fewer batteries, now batteries other than Kirkland labeled.

What car were you going to put this racing oil in? The Goodyear slicks used in NASCAR probably wouldn't be a great choice for it, either....

slalom44, You should try a 10/40. Using 0/30 with all that make up oil really skewers your numbers, like tbn and others. If going to a 10/40 slows down the oil consumption, thats good and if it dosn't than you can top off with the 0/30 and be right b

a dab of any grease, even vaseline will suffice. The contacts displace the grease enough to make the connection Another vote for de-oxit before and maybe grease after

Do TAN and TBN have predicted relationship? What I means is if we have only TBN or TAN number, can we determine the other number with acceptable accuracy? Also what is acceptable TAN number ?
