WIX 51372
Napa Gold 1372
Napa NASCAR 91372
WIX website says oil filters are made of “Glass Enhanced” media good down to 10-20um. I found it specified in some other oil filter applications. They call it “depth” vs. “paper” media.
The website spec for the WIX 51372 says media is “paper”, 19um nominal filtering.
Napa web site said “T-03 Glass Enhanced Media” for the Gold 1372 (FIL1372) and NASCAR version (NFI91372) uses “T-52 Synthetic/Cellulose Media”. Both are made by WIX.
Does anyone know what is really used in each of these and the filtering capability of the media (particle size) ?
