Depends on a reliable source of used cooking oil, methanol, and a way of disposing of the waste glycerine.
That, and by buying a few books, you could probably build your own rig cheaper.

I checked out this website a few weeks ago after the "Trucks" episode.
Very tempting...if I could just find a grease supply.
Good point on the excise tax - I think in the US, you are exempt for the first few hundred gallons.

In the US, WVO isn't considered a fuel, and therefore not taxable (yet).
