Is this oil better than Rotella T6 5w40? That is available at WM for a $1 less, and it has a rebate now as well. . .

Better is subjective. I haven’t run any of it so far but I’m going to try it. Some swear by it and some swear at it. The VPBE has a little lower Noack and a little higher HTHS but probably not enough difference of either one to be noticeable.

It's dual rated for gasoline engine use (SN). Last I checked, Rotella 5W-40 was not.

Yes it does. It's listed in this same forum section. I'm currently waiting for the rebate for the jugs I bought at a discount at WM
