VOA - Mopar Max Pro 5W20 Synthetic Blend Oil (Canada)

Hi everyone -

This is the first time I have posted a VOA on the forum. I had some Mopar Max Pro 5W20 synthetic blend oil left over from an oil change, so I decided to get a virgin oil analysis done.

I am curious to read everyone's opinion about this oil - especially how it compares to Pennzoil and Shell 5W20 Synthetic Blend.

As it stands the report is fine, the oil may even be good. The qualifier is what machine you pour this inside, then you can determine its suitability and possible betters.

I wonder who the manufacturer really is? May have exact test numbers of a main player or someone like Warren or Amelie. My bet is that Valvoline is the manufacturer.

Probably Pennzoil, I only say this because Mopar is pretty cozy with them.
However, it wouldn’t surprise me if they just buy it from the lowest bidder.
I have (in the past) opened a 5 quart and two 1 quart containers of Mopar 5W-20 and when I poured them it I could tell it was two different oils just by the color difference between them.
