That would be about right for a "slow boat from China". Most "as seen on TV" items have a "allow 4-6 weeks for delivery" disclaimer as fine print.

side note: I've typically found that the S&H covers the cost of the product and S&H, making the "30 day money back minus S&H" additional disclaimer an indicator of the product's true cost and the profit margin involved. That's not to say that it didn't take a decent capital outlay to bring the product to market.

When Trend Instruments was in West Chester, PA (the 80's), I saw invoices for various sized pocket digital thermometers. All were in the $140-$240 price range. The costs were typically $20-$35+/-.
 
I am waiting on a reply from oilyzerman and the results of a UOA I have at Polaris now. When I post the UOA I was going to include my experience with the oilyzer.
