Purolator Classic L25288 Cut Open!

This filter was on my Silverado for 4500 miles and the OLM was at 29 Percent and 5 months. I got this filter through a Castrol rebate at pep girls. Oil used was Chevron Supreme 5-30 and the truck sees alot of short trips very few highway miles. Replaced with a PF61 Ecore.

My only complaint about this filter is the can is very very thin. Unlike the Ecores I normally use.

Thanks for the pictures... I just picked up that filter today along with resolute 5w30 at fleet farm (looks like a good filter.)

Purolators have always had thin shells. It looks like the oil kept a good golden color.
