A Purolator Classic for the Ford Modulars. Apologies for the tilted photos; not sure what happened there.

Enjoy!

Lots of pleats, and lots of surface area I'll bet.

I was not happy with this filter. Thin can, dirty oil fast, bad fitment. The threads and hole were too large. was a bear trying to screw it on.

Sounds like it had the wrong threads. Sure your car calls for the threads it had?

I've been trying to use up my last 3 Classics that i have on the shelf by rotating them in between using Purones. The last 3 Classics i have used gave me a dry start rattle-every one of them! Assuming the ADBV was the culprit, i took them off after immediatley and all 3 were DRY-EMPTY-NO OIL in them what so ever. I emailed Purolator and they sent me a box with 3 zip lock baggies and paperwork to send the filters back to them for inspection. I will never use Purolator Classics again. The Purones have never gave a dry start rattle. With 244,000+ miles on my Avalon, i can't afford ANY dry starts. Gotta be careful-SHE DOESN'T OWE ME A DIME!!
