Pf 48 run on my 08 Silverado. extreme short tripper, around 3k on filter and oil in 6 months. Oil was black as coal. Formula Shell was run with it. Was replaced by Microgard and QSGB.

It looks tore in the third pic but it wasn't. It was just the way the oil was in the pleats.
4th, 5th, 6th pics look like different filters than the 3rd

It looks like exactly the same filter in all the posted photos. An inspection of the embedded metadata reveals they were resized for posting in the forum (thank you) and were created within seconds of each other.
