OCI on SuperTech filters?

What would a fair OCI on a Supertech (Champ Labs) be? I see most say 5K but I have seen people go 10K on them with no problems. What do you think? Tia

I average 6.5k to 8k on my pickup. Although the owner's manual indicates to change the filter every other OC, I just change it at the same time as the oil (miles vary as I change them based on the Honda's maintenance minder). Pretty good and inexpensive filters (at least based on my experience).

To me it depends on whether it is e-core. I won't use one personally (not hating, just preference). You can use the filter as long as you want to but I would suggest 5k is a good interval for the price. You plan on extending OCI I can't say enough good things about the Fram X-Tended Guard. I know it is pricey but it is so solid. I was amazed at the quality when I cut my first one open.

Go ahead and run it 5k, cut it open and see how it held up.

I have taken the ST to 5K before but don't like the idea of going beyond that. I'm sure it can do many more miles.

When in doubt about a filter, about 5,000 to 7,000 maximum total miles.

For a dollar more, buy the Purolator Classic. Even the NAPA ProSelect are better.
