Mixing GL lubes in tractor application; concern for possible mixing error

Hi to all, i own a tractor and in it's transmition it uses 60 littres of 80w/90 GL5 gear oil, by mistake my father fill about 1 litter (more like 800 ml) sae 90 (unkonwn gl), will this mix (60littres of GL-5 and 1 litter of unknown GL) cause me a problem? should i drop all gear oil and put inside new one? The gas station i buy oils told me that the amount is small to cause a problem and it would be more of a problem if i put a GL-5 gear oil in a non GL-5 gear box than the other way around! Any sudgestions? thank you in adnvance!

60 liters? That must be one HUGE tractor. I wouldn't worry about it either.

thats about 1.5% shouldnt be a problem but how can it be unknown gear oil?

he threw away the can before i realised the mistake! since it was SAE 90 it must be either GL1 or GL4...

That is about 1.3% of the oil capacity as long as it was clean new oil It wouldn't bother me.

It was clean new from another machine, was definately SAE 90 (unknown GL tho).
