Mazda MX-5 Gerber edition

This is a new color for the MX-5 this year, Zircon Sand metallic, more like Gerber baby food metallic.

This is their Platinum Quartz metallic color they had for a few years and it’s not bad.

That Zircon is not a good color to put on a sports car. I would love to see a metallic green or metallic blue on the MX-5.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I don’t think it looks that bad but it wouldn’t be my choice of color either.

I would like to see the new Artisan Red on the MX-5

I like the zircon sand better than the quartz color but agree it wouldn't be my choice for that car...

It's new and different, so someone will like it. Just like those dull grey and green, and that mud color. When they come out with one the color of dirt, I might look into it. Would save me a ton on car washes!

^^They have. It's called 'silver' or 'pewter'.

I'd have to see any vehicle in person before I could have an opinion.
Hey, it's a car. Paint it any color you like.
However, the canvas does have some limitations and some cars are 'prisoners of their legacies'.
Perhaps some vehicles fall victim to these new, modern hues.

A snappy car would have to look darn good in a "neutral" color for me to select it.

Not my choice of color for a Miata. Lots of manufactures releasing this color on cars to make them look more adventurous.
