Kumho Solus KH-18

Who has used these Chinese made tires?
They are dirt cheap, and I am tempted for the older Accord.
Does anyone have any experience with them?
Does Kumho enforce their usual quality standards on the Chinese factory that makes them?
Should I just spend another ~$40.00 on known good tires?

I have run my Kumhos for ~ 30,000+ miles without issues. I do believe they are made in South Korea. A known good tire.

The KH-18 is made in China.
I've used Kumhos before that were made in Korea with good results.

for a good price I would have gotten them. But I found a set of Kelly's for my Saturn. Cost 312 for everything.

I have ran a couple sets of Chinese tires with good results
Only problem I see is there is a limited range of sizes.

I used to not care but as of late, if i can buy an American product, I will. If the difference is $40, why wouldn't you?!

would depend on the tires. surely you can find non chinese kumhos for nearly the same price.
