is motorcrafts oil filter, fl820s, able to handle high flows like wix, k%n? this filter appears to be since it has big intake holes and many big holes on the inside flow tube and filters 20u @ 80%..seems to me they are now able to handle a high flow such as 12-15 gpm..does anyone know on this exact filter?
help!!!

12 to 15 Gallons Per Minute? You've got yourself one powerful oil pump there.
thats what wix and k&n are rated..i just wanted to know if the fl820s can do that?

I don't think any passenger car filters are rated under 10gpm. I believe that this is one of the tests for PSID (10gpm). I'm sure that there's capability beyond the test criteria. It's a flow rate that very few engines will ever see.
