Head Gasket Placement, 1990 RT 180

Looking at a head gasket for my 90 RT 180 Yamaha, it has a raised (convex) ring on one side and a concave ring on the other. Anyone want to venture as to which side is up. I'm sure when I take the head off, it will be apparent, but I'd rather know going in. Thanks!

Ive always put the raised side up. But honestly, I don't think it makes any difference. They are all flat when you take them out. I think its more a torque issue.

I put the raised side up also, but both sides have to seal under the same conditions so it shouldn't matter.

Thanks! I bought the gasket a couple months ago and the head is still leaking. I guess I should take it off the shelf in the computer room and install it. Probably work better.
