i have a honda snapper thats about 13 years old. its self driving.
i finally changed the oil after about 10 years, i remember changing it once. man that oil was bad. hahaha. it stuck to the pan and was pretty dark. it looked more like soot.
so i put some new oil in the tank, and then ran it for like 20 minutes. then changed it again. still a little dark but i can tell there is actually lubrication.
so then i fill and run it once more and now the oil is clean, change the oil and tada, a quieter motor.
i also filled the transaxle for the automatic drive.
now i went to snapper and bought the 2 belts (which are worn beyond recognition) and all the tires (which had no grip period).
my lawnmower is running like new. also changed the origional spark plug =)
just thought id share
