What reader do you recommend that reads AND tells me what it is without looking for the code in the book. Cheap too, if possible.

I picked one up at COSTCO a while ago, it was $35. Reads all OBDII data. You do have to look up code on the internet site if you want more details than, "spark plug miss" for example.

I use a Snap On MT 2500 automotive scanner. works great and has software to do transmission, anti lock brakes and communicate with the modules in the vehicle. I have an extra one I'm selling listed in the for sale section of this site. or you can call me 810-689-4032
