ECOGUARD X-2222, 2011 Patriot CUT OPEN

So, a lady co worker/wonderful friend bought this 2011 Jeep Patriot, said oil was lil' dark. No sticker on windshield either. Unknown oil grade and brand. Put a Tough Guard 10060 and Formula Shell 5w30 in and on and told her go 5k as I think that's what owner manual would recommend. She was going to look and call me back. Enjoy pics

The media definitely looks dark, which would make sense given the darkness of the oil.. but otherwise, it appears that the engine is pretty clean. Filter looks great too!
