I used a feeler gauge. All of the other valves are fine. It's the one particular valve where I replaced the rocker arm that had been broken. It continuously gets tighter and tighter with each rotation
Yeah it looks like that. And me hand rotating the engine. Initially I put it all back together and the car ran rough/stalled/rich. Took it all apart again to find that valve tight as hell. Readjusted it, rotated it by hand 5 times. Tight again.
Going back to the first broken rocker arm and why it broke and now the new rocker arm tightening for some reason is a tough one. I think it may have something to do with the mechanism on the intake side, it seems like something is catching that exhaust rocker other than its designated cam lobe.
I would remove the intake side valve train and watch the new rocker arm as you slowly rotate the engine.
