S scurvy Joined Feb 19, 2007 Messages 2,412 Location Chicago IL USA Jan 18, 2013 #3 Looks like a normal stick wax for lubricating a cutting tool. We use Castrol Stick Wax at work for the same purpose. Works fine and tends to stay in place better than oils.
