I was in Carquest this morning getting a can of Seafoam, and I figured I'd pick up an oil filter for my Aspire and my brother's Civic. Both cars take the same filter, apparently. The regular Carquest filter was $4.61, and the premium filter was $7.71. I bought two of the premium filters. The guy at the counter told me they're both made by Wix, but he didn't know any other differences. Anyone know what the differences are?

The last round of carquest filters I bought, the 'standard' filter I bought said "made by Dana corp." and the premium was stamped "made by WIX".
