I found this cool tool to customize TTS voices on Garmins: changes phrases and/or levels/speeds, etc: (have not tried it yet on mine, but i think I am going increase Samantha's voice level a bit, and if that works, a few funny/different phrases):

LOL - i just changed Deutsch Steffi to say "Fahr zur markierten Route, Du Schwein" - let's see if it worked..
(didn't wanna play with voices that I actually use at first)

I've made a bunch of modifications to American Jack (which is what I use on mine). Too bad the utility doesn't have a "play" function so that right away you could verify how the system pronounces what you typed in.

yeah i know - that kinda sucks.
I wonder if other SW exists that does that; didn't look really...

when I 1st selected the edited voice (deutsch Steffi), the screen went blank for like 1 sec., but came back on, and all was ok...
didn't happen again when I tried to change voices back & forth, so perhaps it just does that when using the altered voice file for the very 1st time..

There's also Garmin Voice Studio which lets you record your own voice for all the phrases...
