This Top Gun Co has some Very mixed reviews when searched on "the" Google. But. on AmmoSeek, the reviews are stellar. You must make an account on AmmoSeek to read reviews, but at these prices I'm willing to take the plunge. I will post another listing that is a couple bucks more, yet still a very good prices for the present times. I will post a link for 40sw GD, and 45acp HST's.

Federal HST and Speer Gold Dot are among the very best in Self Defense ammo. Those are excellent prices. I just bought a case of 9mm 124 grain HST for $625 from Target Sports USA because I thought that was an excellent price and I needed some. This undercuts that by over $100. Very nice find.

If you are a striker fired pistol fan, Botach has some great deals on H&K VP9 guns right now. VP9 or VP9SK for $500 with a $200 rebate credit at the H&K store (works out to 4 extra mags or so).
Botach was from LA and their main focus on supplying police allowed them to operate there much longer than you would expect for a gun store in that area. Eventually, the environment forced them out, and to my good fortune they moved near me in Vegas. Great folks to talk to about shooting and they have occasional incredible sales on things I can't do without.
I've only made small ammo purchases from them but I've found them really good for other shooting related things.

If you can get them to actually ship a product. They are quite known in the gun community for regularly pulling a bait and switch or saying they have products in stock and not letting people know for months.

Got it. I've never had products shipped from them. I picked up all of my online purchases at the store. Haven't had any problem with that.

Been able to get HST pretty cheap for about 6 months now. I am set on carry ammo for quite some time. For those that don't know about it

What's an ammo purchase permit?
Something to keep the man down in the less free states.

We were headed upstate to go hunting, stopped at Cabella's in CT, couldn't even buy 30-06 or 12 gauge ammunition without it. Last time I went and bought some it was actually less restrictive then NY is now. They just "looked" at it, no scanning or other. That was right before Christmas when I got some Bismuth for my son's Browning he takes duck hunting.

NY now has where you need to show your permit to buy ammunition, at least for handgun ammo, UNLESS you have a rifle that takes the same. They ask "what is this for". I think still need to show drivers license and be cleared by NYSP now. https://www.cbsnews.com/newyork/news/new-law-takes-effect-requiring-background-checks-to-buy-ammunition-antique-weapons-in-new-york/

It might be worth it for you to go to PA and stock up

Could a person in a free state UPS you some ammo? It's perfectly legal to ship ammo though UPS is it's under 66 lbs and it's not something like howitzer shells to the whole lower 48.

Reason I ask, you partner up with someone and ship an order to them. They charge you a box of ammo to take it down to UPS to send it straight to your doorstep, just to cover their shipping expenses.

Target Sports USA used to ship to NY no issue, bought plenty from them. They have new guidelines now also Target Sports NY shipping. Neighbor is NYPD so can order as needed under exempt. We have been known to barter accordingly, I do some car work for him as needed etc.

Fortunately I consider myself to have enough of what I need currently (can you ever actually?). More is on the list but daughter in college, son in PA school and getting married in '25, no overtime for the last year etc. There are needs priorities that trump the wants.

I have friends in FL and MO that travel this way often also as well as local friends that haul their 5th wheel everywhere. We all have common interests. ;) .
