Nice pics Pat. The inside looked very clean and neat. I also noticed they will have 2 air filters (according to the pics) OR one heck of a long one.
I saw a Chevy commercial yesterday and the first car that appeared was the new Vette.....also the Chevy SS and the SS P/U (SSR??)
Hopefully quality will be good.

One thing which does bother me is that they've gone to a new oil pan design which also reduced it's capacity to 5.5 quarts now. The LS1 Corvette holds 6.5 quarts. Seems like a step backwards to me, especially since the LS1 had a 6250rpm redline but the new LS2 is now 6500.
