The car burned about .25L between changes, which is normal for the AJ126 engine.
Filled the car with 4L Special Tec, 4L Top Tec 6600 & and OEM LR filter. Will continue to keep these 8-9k OCI's.
Going to be adding a Provent 200 catch can to help with longevity & potential carbon buildup on the intake valves.

Excellent job with consistent testing on this LR. The trend indicates this vehicle is doing well. What does the Oil Life Monitor suggest changing the oil at any idea? Thanks

No oil life monitor on these platforms, just a simple mileage interval requirement (16k). You can see from the first change @ 14,771, the residual 3.8 TBN from the factory Castrol Professional E 0W-20 shows it's a very stout oil. It's also very expensive at around $17-$20 a qt.

Looking to try out some of the Valvoline European 0W-20 at some point as well.

Nice wear numbers per 1k miles, aluminum trending down and iron steady at less than 2ppm/1kmi. Still useful TBN left. Vis not too far down below 8. Good report, good OCI distance.

Thanks for that information as LR's have always been foreign to me. Valvoline should hold up too.
