Whats the efficiency of the Purolator Boss?

So now I need to know when to change my air filter. I always change it when it is brown....but not super dirty. Maybe we should start an air filter thread on when to change filters with pictures showing when people have changed them. ??

Yes. I think air filter is important also. I run a Wix air filter but am noticing that my airbox deforms the gasket so im hoping it still seals properly. Anybody else have that problem?

I learned that some filters like the wix Xp filter at 35 microns while the Ultra from Fram filters at 20. In reality as long as you change your oil and filter regularly you should be good to go. I am curious if the standard wix filter is good for 7500 mile oci. Thats my assumption but I dont...

Yeah... I understand there are alot of factors with car life. I was somewhat joking about the 500k mile mark. I do drive a 2000 Toyota Camry though with 185k on it. I was more curious on peoples take on my oil filter choices.

What is AFAIK?

Just put Mobil 1 EP HM 5w-30 in my truck this morning. It still started and got me to the store! Good stuff! Only put about 6 or 7000 miles on my truck a year so I will change it annually. Oh yeah....used the M1 filter for good luck.
