    I was considering buying a Champion Inverter generator but I don't know if they are as dependable as Subaru and B & S Vanguard generator engines. I'm located in south Florida and need a generator that can take a beating during extended runs.

    I have a Coleman Powermate with a 10 HP Subaru and a Northstar 5500 with a 9 HP Vanguard engine. I use Mobil Delvac 15W-40 or Rotella 15W-40 with no problems.

    I noticed the Justrite cans have metal handles, Eagle's handles are plastic. Doesn't make much sense to have plastic on metal gas cans.

    Eagle Safety cans is the way to go. Fuel stays fresh longer IMO. Eagle safety cans works well for me, fuel stays fresh longer.

    I bought a Toro Super Recycler Personal Pace with an aluminum deck. I blow air underneath every now and then.

    Subaru EX30

    I have a 5kw Coleman Powermate with a 10 hp Subaru EX30 engine. I replaced the carb about 3 years ago with a cheap Chinese card. It didn't run any better than the one I replaced. I bought an original Subaru carb and it's been running great since.
