    Compared to the forester it is to me, 6cyl 3l turbo 325 HP and 354 pound feet of torque. It's a baby compared to what engines you guys get is the US...but to me it's awesome compared to what cars I'm used to driving.. What 6L 500HP beast you're driving ?

    Moved from the UK to Oz In the UK I used to run 10w40 in a Turbo Foreter....... moved to Oz and bought a 2014 Volvo XC60 T6 and manual says to run 0-5W30 A5/B5 seems a bit of a light spec oil for this beast of an engine compared to the Subaru would it be OK to run A3/B4? Did a bit of digging...

    Subaru Japan now only recommends two oil grades 0W30 and 10W50

    An interesting fact I found out today is that Hartech ( Porsche engine specialists re-builders in the uk ) part of their warranty terms is to only use Millers Nanodrive CFS 10w50 NT in their rebuilt engines otherwise you’ll void warranty... https://www.hartech.org/rebuild-terms

    Fuchs Titan Race Pro is quite popular with car enthusiasts here in the UK and it gets recommended a lot I have no doubt is excellent stuff was just unsure about the 10W50 rating as now a days everyone always seems to recommend the 0W as being best thing since sliced bread...

    Yeah I was all right with it until I’ve spoken to my dad who’s opinion I also respect when it comes to stuff like this so he’s just put some doubt in my mind... just wanted to get some reassurance that’s all....

    I just told him to put in what he thinks is best for the car this was after he’s done a full health check...he is one of the most respected Subaru mechanic and engine builder/tuner in the UK so I’m sure he’s done it for a reason and he knows what he’s doing....

    The car is stock , but will be re-mapped next month or so (still thinking if it’s safe to do so and worth it ).... I don’t monitor oil temp and on the motorway I do run it hard for the odd monthly motorway run...but normal driving the rest of time and no track days...

    Keep the oil and swap before winter for 5W40 then .... it’s an odd one that all the Subaru specialists and engine builders in the UK....all recommend minimum 10W40/50 and RCM 15W20 to the point they don’t even sell lower grades in their shops.....if anyone knows a thing or two about Subarus is...

    And if we compare the 3 oils in the table below .....how is not MOTUL sport the best out of those 3? I cannot understand? People keep mentioning 10W30 5W50 10W50 but I'm not talking about that I wont use anything other than 5W30 5W40 or 0W40.....I'm talking about the best 5W40 oil with the best...
