    5W20 Mobile EP/7,000 Miles/18 Ford Transit Gas 3.7

My only other comment is THANKS for all the replies. I'm going 10,000 miles this time unless OLM chimes in sooner which I doubt. I'm done with that 3,000 mile stuff. My older family members (some of them) still follow that. I'm 50, I don't like crawling underneath stuff like the old days! More...

    5W20 Mobile EP/7,000 Miles/18 Ford Transit Gas 3.7

4WD...I like it, no problems so far. Works really well for camping, hauling bicycles, etc. A big step up from a Silverado with camper shell.

M1 EP 5 Qt has a foil seal and the tamper proof plastic cap; quarts just have the tamper proof cap. The ones I buy.

Yes, the manual says 5W20. One thing I did notice, the Fram Ultra is shorter than the Ford and Mobile filters. I wonder why the difference?

cycled the Paul Bunyan trail in Minnesota

Yes, we do camp in a tent, but we haul the bikes up from Missouri. I'm not retired so I just use my vacations for stuff like this. MN has lots of bike trails, I intend to check them out in the future. Another favorite place is Des Moines, IA. They have done it right. Hundreds of miles of paved...

cycled the Paul Bunyan trail in Minnesota

I've done the complete trail 7-8 times. It's great. Normally park at Crow Wing State Park, two days to Bemidji, turn around and head back to Crow Wing. Usually a 4-5 day trip. Mosquito's always bad at Crow Wing without exception. I always wear long sleeves and a mosquito head net when I need it.

    2018 Ford Transit Oil/Filter

Most of the problems I have read about on the Transit Forum. I did get the new driveshaft. I probably will run it until close to 10,000 in under a year. To me, using less oil, less of my labor & time is a big plus. When the van tells me to change it I will. I might send the oil off once to get...

    2018 Ford Transit Oil/Filter

Thanks. I'll use both filters. Why not spend a little extra on oil & filter when going long intervals. I'm sure cheaper stuff would work, but it might give me some peace of mind.

    2018 Ford Transit Oil/Filter

Recently purchased a 2018 Ford Transit with the 3.7 (This is a full size Transit, not the Connect). This vehicle will be driven mainly highway miles. I plan on going by the oil computer for oil changes which will put me near the 10,000 mile mark. I drive like an old man, even though I'm not and...
