Valvoline Import Multi-Vehicle (ATF) Full Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid 1 GA. $17.98

I used this specific fluid in my 2000 Camry V6 (A541E) and it did a good job cleaning it out after 1000 miles. Well worth the buy in my book.

High mile 4.6 Ford - Ok to use heavier oil?

I gotta agree with you there. I had my 4r70w rebuilt because of that very thing but I do want to remove the TransGo shift kit that was installed and go with either a J-Mod or Sonnax built valve body. The TransGo VB is too harsh and there is no TV line adjustment on these transmissions since it’s...

High mile 4.6 Ford - Ok to use heavier oil?

I ended up with QS 5w40 Euro. Was on sale at WM for the gallon jug and the motor sounds quieter and runs smoother.

Any reason NOT to go with Aisin TKT024 vs OEM Toyota?

NPW is quality from what I’ve heard too. Good recommendation!

Any reason NOT to go with Aisin TKT024 vs OEM Toyota?

That’s good to know. I’m trying to research different forums and figure out why some people have water pump issues with the pumps that come in the Aisin kits vs. using the Toyota branded Aisin.. Haven’t found any conclusive evidence just yet..

Any reason NOT to go with Aisin TKT024 vs OEM Toyota?

Gates suck.. I used upper and lower radiator hoses from them on my 2001 Mustang GT and they weren’t even cut right at the ends making them too short to even use..

Any reason NOT to go with Aisin TKT024 vs OEM Toyota?

The Aisin water pump and Aisin Toyota water pumps seem to have slight variations in castings from what I’ve seen online when comparing the two

Any reason NOT to go with Aisin TKT024 vs OEM Toyota?

Thanks a lot slacktide! Luckily I already changed out the valve cover gaskets and plugs with OEM Toyota back in January of this year, but next time around I’ll try out the Bosch plugs as you recommended. Hoping whenever I have to tackle this the car goes easy on me 🤣

Any reason NOT to go with Aisin TKT024 vs OEM Toyota?

That was a huge factor for me when buying a Japanese car. The 1MZ being non-interference helped me choose that over a manual Accord from the same generation.

How long ago did you buy your Toyota struts? The supplier for Toyota on my car are KYB for the rear and Sachs for the fronts..

Any reason NOT to go with Aisin TKT024 vs OEM Toyota?

Has anyone ever had any issues using Aisin timing kits and not using OEM Toyota timing parts? This would be for my 2000 Camry V6 (1MZ-FE). I’ve purchased everything OEM up to this point and don’t mind piecing parts together over time, but I like the convenience of the “all-in-one” Aisin kit plus...
