We use hundreds of Baldwin filters a year in a mixed use fleet. They make a good filter. MPG is "Maximum Performance Glass," usually in the Allison replacement filters. I've cut open every truck filter available and only genuine CAT filters are better made.

I use a CAT filter cutter...probably the same as Chief's OTC.

I buy D1 ESP from the Mobil Distributor for the Seattle area. I know they sell smaller quantities as well.

I'm thinking it's because the target market is heavy duty diesel.

Cr was 0. Can't figure out how to edit??? Looks like I waited too long...darn. So with additive numbers like that the TBN suprised me a bit.

I manage a mixed-use fleet, and we have successfully run Delvac1300 Super, and now Delvac1 in 100+ gas cars, vans, and light trucks as well as 150 school buses. We also have a fleet of grounds crew equipment both gas and diesel. No problems here.

Interesting...I'm in the middle of recieving an 18 school bus order from the IC plant in Tulsa OK. The factory fill in these DT466E buses is: RotellaT 15W-40, Rotella ELC, and Transynd. Soon to get a Delvac1 transfusion! Are those Ontario trucks big class 8's? Tom

MO is definately in Delvac 1300, and 10 would show depletion. Is this 1300? When I see coolant in my fleet I'll have high Na from my inhibitor, then a corrosponding rise in viscosity, and eventually positive glycol. I guess I'd want to know what coolant he was running. If it's ELC w/K, I would...
