I'm currently using M1 EP with a RP 10-44 filter. The motor has 75,789 miles. This is the first round with this oil. In the case of HM oil what would be the recommendation there? Thanks.

Pardon the Shakespeare reference, but that is my question. I have discovered that my 06 SS does have an oil consumption issue that, according to what I can find online is due in whole, or in part, to the Active Fuel Management System. It doesn't bother me it's about a quart every 2000 miles...

How long can you expect an oil filter to stay usable under "typical" garage conditions. Is this an item you can stock up on, or does the media degrade sitting there over time. Is this a time limit that is so great it shouldn't be worried about? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
