I currently have 63K miles on my 200 Ford Ranger. I have been using Valvoline 5W-30 Durablend since I bought it new. My oil change intervals are around 4K miles. I am contemplating switching to Valvoline 5W-30 Maxlife. What do you guys think?

I have heard that the Motorcraft 5w-30 is a synthetic blend. Is this true? If so, what percentage is synthetic? It is $1.42 a quart at Wal-Mart. If this is true, this is a great deal.
