BMW parts - Made in first-world nations so far!

I bought a purolator air filter from pep boys and I noticed that the air filter was actually a mann air filter. So I guess I'll be sticking to that!

    Auto Rx on Nissan Titan?

Thanks for the quick replies. In the morning when he first starts it the pressure goes a little over the middle for a little until it warms up, then it just stays in the middle reguardless of what gear its in, or what speed he's going. But after a while of driving maybe about 45 min or so the...

    Auto Rx on Nissan Titan?

Yes another one sorry lol Since its worked pretty well so far on my BMW I figured I'd give it a try on my dads truck depending on what feedback I get here. He's got a 2005 Nissan Titan 5.6 with 150k on the clock and its got a pretty annoying valve tick going on with it. He mentioned the oil...

    Blue or Green???

Alright so I just bought another E36 and the "mechanic" from the lot that I bought it from just threw straight full strength green coolant. Not sure what brand though. Would it be fine If I used regular Prestone green coolant? Or should I use the blue BMW coolant that costs a bit more?

    Auto-Rx, Redline, and other nonsense.

Sweet. I am gonna use dino for both the cleaning and rinse cycle, I just wanted to see if it would be helpful to use Auto-Rx as a maint dose with Redline. My question has been more than answered and I greatly appreciate it guys. And as Wiswind brought up the subject, I was meaning to ask if it...

    Auto-Rx, Redline, and other nonsense.

Thanks for the quick replys everyone. But yeah demarpaint I'm already 700 miles into the cleaning cycle of the ARx. So it would be a good idea to run xW-40 oil? I I guess it makes sense now since my previous 328 consumed oil when i ran anything lower than xW-40...or would I be wrong in assuming...

    Auto-Rx, Redline, and other nonsense.

Thanks demarpaint, I actually went with ARx because I had read around and saw that those other faster ways might seem a little dangerous for cleaning out an engine. I wasn't too comfortable with using something aggressive that might break off chunks and clog oil passages. I'm not exactly sure...

    Auto-Rx, Redline, and other nonsense.

So I just bought an E36 328i with 129k on the clock and I'm currently running an Auto-Rx treatment on it. A couple questions that I have are: After I finish the cleaning and rinsing phase, would it be wise to run a maint. dose along with Redline Oil? Another question I have is if it's even a...
