How many know about AAA's 1 tow per breakdown policy?

Thanks, that's good to know. I've had the 100 miles membership for twenty years. Never had to use it, but I always wondered if they would give me a hard time if I wanted it towed home.

How many know about AAA's 1 tow per breakdown policy?

Will they tow it to my home instead of a shop? I do all my own repairs, so a tow to a shop is worthless to me.

Maybe it's just the light, but that oil looks like it has some antifreeze and/or water in it.

    Questionable label on Walmart battery

I always take a voltmeter along when battery shopping. Very often the battery with the highest voltage is one with an earlier date I always take a voltmeter along when I go battery shopping. Often the battery with the most recent date has a substantially lower voltage than one with an older...

    Civic rear wheel bearing

Yep, that thumbnail settles the question. Thanks for searching for me. I thought I had done a pretty good job of searching YT on this. I kept getting vids on the spindle nut hubs. Guess I gave up too soon.

    Civic rear wheel bearing

So in 2013 Honda Civic went from the big spindle nut type of rear wheel bearing to the kind that has the four bolts . I have a 2013 Civic with a bad rear wheel bearing. This Civic has drum rear brakes. It will be easy to remove the 4 bolts as they are on the outside. My question is: will I be...

    Question on Job Interview Etiquette

There are a lot of chemists around. Most likely, they considered the OP an excellent candidate, but they had other excellent candidates. It would have been slightly better for them to have one more excellent candidate, but not really that important.

    PS pump failing?

Most likely belt tension is too low. The higher viscosity of the cold fluid requires more torque to turn the pump and the grab of the belt is less in the cold. If the belt is just marginally tight, it will work normal at higher temps and slip at colder temps.

    REAR tie rod jam nuts

I'm preparing to do a REAR wheel toe in alignment. I see that the REAR tie rod has two jam nuts, one on the outer end and one on the inner end. Is one of these nuts left handed? Both nuts are somewhat corroded so I don't want to turn one of them the wrong way and think it is corrosion that is...

    Measuring and adding fuel treatment

I use a metal measuring tablespoon. If you have steady hands it is easy to pour out a tablespoon or two and the spoon fits nicely into the fuel inlet of our cars. I can get all but maybe a couple of drops into the tank without spilling any. Measuring tablespoons come in a number of different...
