thanks again guys, the engine is a z6, with all the holes:) i also forgot to add that i have a moroso 5.5quart oil pan and a large moroso pickup(alot larger then stock, could that be the reason i'm having only 14-15 psi at idle on a fresh angine?

hi guys, i allready opened this thread a while ago but i just finished building and installing the engine and now its oil time :), i'v built a honda d16 engine which suppose to produce around 400hp with a t3/4 turbo, forged pistons and rods. compression ratio is around 1:8.5 very agressive...

i dont have a dyno sheet yet since the engine isnt running yet, how about the rotella sb 10w30?

this engine is going to see alot of "abuse" around 400hp tops, it has a very hot cam and it should idle at around 1000rpm and have a rev limit at 9000rpm.

some guys in honda forums told me that, israel is usualy hotter than the usa. would it be wise to use 10w50? i used 10w60 on my last engine but all my rod bearings faild,
