    And in addition: 50 hrs in our aircraft equate to 9000 miles, as we run at 180 mph. Also we run at higher constant RPMs for extended periods of time. So as I said if you run oil through a supposedly better filter it should be cleaner, regardless of run time. Thanks for your comments tho! VW USA

    No we don't run Amszoil in aircraft but oil filters are oil filters. We use Phillips 66 Aviation oil. And the time run argument doesn't hold water, no matter what the time is the oil should be cleaner, period. Radial engine aircraft like we run are dirty engines, and even the ADC screen filter...

    Amsoil Bypass eaBP 100 interchange

    Has anyone changed over from the Amsoil Bypass eaBP filter to some other manufacturer? I have found so far the Balwin BD7317 the Donaldson D558615 and the Fleetguard LF9028 but don't know anything about them. At 40 bucks each x 2 the Amsoil are kinda pricey. Thanks VW
