Filter looks to be Purolator made. Mostly highway but some in town/idling in the summer heat. This car is my daily driver right at 203,000 miles. Filter held up well I've got a red Purlator in my stash for next time. Same oil went back in with a Fram Toughguard.

I know this has been discussed before but I wanted to find out first hand and they are the exact same thing. The Kohler media was a little tighter packed but not enough to justify the price difference.

I was curious of the current build of regular red Purolators.

I found 3 non EcorePF47 filters. Was wondering if someone can tell the manufactur date. I'm crossing my fingers they are going back. It reads 14314af 07:51

I accidentally put a little under half a qt of Merc 5 in my Dexron VI Chevy. I didn't realize it until it's to late I had grabbed the wrong bottle. Should I take it to the dealer and have it changed or will they mix ok?
