    Oh and leave out the oil additives. Don't need them. No mmo, arx, and no lucas. The GM 5.7 runs forever. It's not a sludger so don't try to clean it. Most other additives just thicken the oil.     I grew up on a farm and a lot of times farmers would put some grease in leaky gear boxes to try and seal them up, sometimes even fill them completely. Possible what you are seeing is grease, not sludge.
