I know it could go farther, but Infiniti's max interval is 7500 miles. I will stay with that at least until the warranty is up.

I finally worked up to the max recommended interval at 7500 miles. The PU is still performing just as good as it has been. This will probably be my last sample on this car for a while. I'll just continue to keep it on a steady diet of PU 5W-30 and PureOne PL14612 filters at 7500 mile changes.

Some newer cars are very difficult to fit jackstands under, they seem geared towards lifts only. There are not good flat spots to stick them. Did the ramps fail or did the car roll off?

Why not go synthetic? Mine has had Pennzoil Platinum and Pennzoil Ultra since new. Seems to be working great. Both available at Wal-Mart in 5-qt jugs.

There is a large Cat dealer about a mile from my house. I didn't realize they did analysis. When I looked on their website, the sample report seems heavily biased towards diesel information. How is it for gasoline engines? Anyone have an actual report from a gas engine.

I use Pennzoil Ultra 5W-30 in mine and just got back a good oil analysis on it. The Nissan Ester definitely does not seem worth the money judging by some oil samples we have seen on here. I would think any good synthetic would be better than dino+moly.
